This is a super interesting topic! Ingredients that are comedogenic on their own aren’t necessarily pore clogging in a finished product. Ascorbic acid is an unstable ingredient that is really difficult to formulate with. The addition of antioxidants such as ferulic acid and vitamin E acetate help to stabilize the formula. You should store your serum in a cool, dark place and always make sure to limit oxygen exposure to ensure you get the longest life possible!
